Community Wellbeing Events & Courses

Accessible, inclusive spaces for learning, regulation, and resilience supporting real people navigating real challenges

Why Community Wellbeing Matters

At Strong Horizons, we believe wellbeing education should be accessible to everyone — not just those in clinical or corporate spaces.

Our Carlisle-based trauma-informed community wellbeing events and courses are designed for:

  • Individuals, families, and caregivers

  • Professionals — especially those in caring or high-pressure roles — seeking supportive spaces for reflection and reconnection

  • Anyone wanting practical tools, emotional regulation strategies, and connection in a safe and supportive environment

Whether you're navigating stress, caregiving responsibilities, emotional fatigue or simply wanting to deepen your connection with yourself and others, these events provide practical guidance and sustainable ways to improve wellbeing and resilience.

What We Offer

We offer a growing mix of accessible, in-person wellbeing experiences, including:

  • Wellbeing Workshops - one-day or half-day events (e.g. Nervous System Reset, Compassionate Boundaries)

  • Wellbeing Evenings - short, themed sessions for reflection and relaxation

  • Short Courses - 3-6 week series focused on key wellbeing topics

  • Seasonal & Pop-Up Events - community gathering throughout the year

Every Event Blends

  • Nervous system education to understand stress, trauma, and resilience

  • Somatic and embodied practices to support emotional balance

  • Gentle group work and co-regulation for connection and safety

  • Trauma-informed facilitation to ensure a psychological safe space

No prior knowledge or experience is needed - all are welcome.
